based on EIRP (Effective Isotropic Radiated
Power), a value representing the satellite

In general, the size of the antenna’s reflector
determines the minimum EIRP it will require for

Since larger antennas can collect more of the
satellite signal, they can tolerate weaker power

For example, the 32" (82 cm) TracVision M9 can
receive satellite signals down to an EIRP of 43

The bottom line: If you’re located within a

greater than your antenna’s rating, you should
